A dealer of armaments and objets d'art, Prince Philippe Azure is a “aristocrat” that has both an elusive “royal” lineage and a knack for cashing on it.

Biography (2000s)[]

Azure was born in the French colony of Niger to the Tuaregs—a nomadic tribe in Northern Africa. He was rescued by a soldier stationed near Timbuktu after he was abandoned at the age of two. He was later sent to Paris and taken in by a family with a supposed “noble” lineage. He was educated at France’s finest schools and began to dabble in the trade of his guardian, a savvy armament dealer and part-time “gunrunner”. He took on the title of "Prince", which proved to be quite a door opener for him.

Azure also found an irresistible urge of profiting off of stolen paintings, artifacts and antiquities.

While in business in England in 1912, Prince Azure first met Sir Hugh Black, an avid collector of vintage weapons. The meeting proved to be lucrative for the Prince, as Sir Hugh paid him a small fortune for some rare weapons.

After the death of Sir Hugh, Prince Azure has remained in contacted with his nephew, John Boddy.

Prince Azure was invited by Dr. Black to Tudor Mansion to complete the sale of a diamond mine. The brilliance of Azure’s gems and his elusive lineage blinded Dr. Black to the emptiness of his promises. Perhaps Black realized that the deal was a dud, and wanted to back out of it.
